What's in a Name, Mrs. Salas?
Her official job title is English Language Student Coach.
As a student coach, she has the responsibility of coaching and supporting our English Learner (EL) students as well as presenting workshops to help parents help their students do better in school and in life.
Another important aspect of her job is to provide support to parents which means helping to close the achievement gap for students who are not native English language speakers.
